Linen Assistans is a small, personal assistance company with a big heart. With us, everything is about closeness, security, and accessibility – we are here for you as a client, relative, and assistant. We want everyone to feel seen, safe, and appreciated every day.

We are looking for a female personal assistant for a 17-year-old girl who lives with her parents outside of Jämjö.

In the role of personal assistant, you will be a secure and present support in her daily life. You will help her with personal care, dressing, meals, and mobility, as well as accompanying her on walks and participating in other activities outside the home.

She can walk independently and moves indoors and over short distances with the help of a rollator, but she always needs support from her assistant. For longer distances or when needed, she uses a wheelchair.

Communication is partly conducted using TAKK (Signs as Alternative and Augmented Communication), so it is important that you know TAKK so that you can use this as a support in communication.

It is also a great advantage if you have experience and understanding of how to interact with and support a person with autism – with calmness, clarity, and structure that create security and predictability.

As an assistant, you will have a significant role in her daily life, contributing to security, stability, and joy in both small and large moments.

We are looking for someone who is calm, secure, and has a warm and respectful approach.

You need to have good cooperation skills, patience, and the ability to take personal responsibility.

Personal suitability is of great importance.

There are cats in the home, which means you need to be comfortable with animals and not allergic.

You must be a non-smoker.

The workplace is located outside a densely populated area, so a driver's license and access to a car are required.

Working hours are varied – afternoons, evenings, and weekends according to schedule, with on-call duties at night.
