Are you a confident and driven special needs teacher passionate about finding the right keys to every student's learning?
Karlstad Fria Läroverken is looking for an experienced and independent special needs teacher specializing in language, writing, and reading development who wants to drive the work forward. You will participate in the classroom and provide support teaching at both group and individual levels. The role also includes responsibility for assessments and documentation.
Here, you will have significant autonomy in an environment where we see and support every student's unique potential.
Your Role
🌟 As a special needs teacher, you will be responsible for developing and adapting teaching to meet the diverse needs of students. You will become part of our inspiring student health team of dedicated colleagues and work closely with our teachers and other staff to ensure an inclusive school environment.
🌟 Your work will include planning and implementing support teaching that promotes deep learning and understanding among students. You will proactively identify and support students who need extra help and motivate them to achieve their goals.
Requirements
- Experience working as a special needs teacher.
- Swedish teacher certification with special needs teacher education.
Qualities for Success
- A natural leader with the ability to create structure and clarity in the classroom.
- Receptive and empathetic, with an easy ability to build good relationships with students and colleagues.
Conditions
- Employment type: Permanent. Probationary period applies.
- Full-time: 100%
- Start date: August 3, 2026, or by agreement.
