Description

Do you want to become part of a small but driven IT team in a socially important and complex IT environment? We are now looking for an engaged IT support technician for a fixed-term position at 70% during the period from August 24 to March 31, 2027.

The IT department is responsible for the operation and user support of the municipality's IT systems, such as telephony, networks, office software, and medical record systems. We work both internally and in close collaboration with municipalities in northern Örebro County, sharing a common network (WAN). Our environment also includes modern cloud services, which places high demands on security; therefore, IT security is a fundamental part of everything we do.

Responsibilities

• Provide support for Hällefors Municipality's users via helpdesk, phone, email, and physical visits.
• Monitor and control central IT systems.
• Receive, document, and follow up on IT cases.
• Troubleshoot technical issues, both on-site and via remote connection.
• Perform simple system checks and operational measures.

Qualifications

• You have a basic IT education at least at the upper secondary level, or equivalent experience.
• You have a strong interest in IT, are curious, and want to learn more about new technology.
• You are service-oriented and accustomed to handling problems.
• You thrive working independently and take responsibility.
• You have good collaboration skills and can communicate pedagogically.
• You are proficient in Swedish and English, both spoken and written.
• A valid driver's license (Category B) is required.

Merits

Conditions

Fixed-term position at 70% during the period from August 24 to March 31, with start date August 24. Working hours are during the day, and flexible working hours agreements apply.
