You will take on a key role in a strategic initiative focused on modern platforms for data analysis, statistical production, machine learning, and AI support within socially vital operations. Here, you work at the intersection of business and IT, helping to translate needs into technical solutions, working methods, and processes that work in practice.

The role combines advanced analysis with advisory services and the development of a shared analytics platform. You will become a key part of the work to create support for script-based analysis, automation, machine learning, and secure data handling, with high demands for quality, traceability, and reproducibility. This is an exciting opportunity for you who want to contribute both hands-on and strategically in a modern data and analytics environment.

• You work with advanced data analysis and statistical modeling in business-critical environments.
• You initiate, plan, and drive the development of manual and automated workflows linked to business goals and value.
• You act as an advisory expert in data science towards business, projects, and management.
• You contribute to developing methodology, guidelines, and test strategies for analysis and modeling work.
• You collaborate closely with statisticians, economists, developers, architects, information security, legal, and business representatives.
• You develop solutions for analysis and modeling with a focus on R and Python.
• You contribute to the development and use of machine learning models and MLOps processes.
• You work together with Data Engineers regarding data platforms, data lakes, and data flows.
• You work with version control of analysis and model code in Git-based environments.
• You contribute to quality, security, traceability, and reusability in analysis and model development.

• Experience with advanced data analysis and statistical modeling in business-critical environments.
• Experience in defining, establishing, and further developing methodology, guidelines, and test strategies for analysis and modeling work.
• Experience working in cross-functional teams together with, for example, statisticians, economists, architects, developers, business units, legal, and information security.
• Experience acting as an advisory expert in data science towards business and management.
• At least 2,000 hours of documented experience, or equivalent to approximately 1–2 years of experience, in advanced development in R and Python for data analysis.
• Experience working with data in modern data platforms and data lake environments in close collaboration with Data Engineers.
• Experience with version control using Git or similar tools.
• Experience working in container environments such as Docker and Kubernetes-based platforms.

• Experience working in the public sector.
• Experience with advanced analytics and data platforms, such as SAS Viya or similar solutions.
• Experience with MLOps and production deployment of machine learning models.
• Experience developing analytics and statistical solutions in larger organizations.
• Experience with data and analytics platforms with high demands for security, quality, and traceability.
