At Hultsbergsskolan, we are currently looking for a Spanish teacher for grades 6–9 who wants to play an important role in the students' development and have the opportunity to make a difference in their lives.

Hultsbergsskolan is a school with approximately 500 students from preschool class to grade 9.

At Hultsbergsskolan, we work from a preschool-to-grade 9 perspective, which also includes special needs education. An accessible learning environment is at the center of our school, where we create a school and teaching environment with the students in focus. We strive to create the best possible conditions for learning based on a relational approach.

Our staff is divided into different work teams. Our lower secondary school (grades 7–9) is one of the smallest in Karlstad, which provides good conditions for all students to be noticed every day and to experience a good study environment.

Responsibilities

As a teacher in grades 6–9, your main task is to develop students' knowledge and skills based on the curriculum and each student's individual needs and prerequisites. You plan the teaching by setting goals, choosing methods and materials, and preparing lessons. Together with the students, you evaluate the teaching to always strive to improve the teaching, student learning, and your own professional learning.

Qualifications

We are looking for you with a teacher's license for grades 6–9 in Spanish, and preferably another subject such as Home Economics, Swedish, or Swedish as a Second Language.

To succeed in the role, you are an independent and resilient person who takes responsibility for the entire teaching process – from planning to follow-up. You have a structured way of working and see planning as an important foundation for creating security, while also having the ability to be flexible and adapt the teaching based on the students' needs.

You have good collaboration skills and actively contribute to a good work climate and a development-oriented collegial work. Furthermore, you are relationship-building and find it easy to build trusting relationships with students, colleagues, and guardians. You adapt your communication to the recipient and situation and create conditions for a safe and respectful classroom climate.
