About the Operations

The primary school/adapted primary school operations are part of the Education Administration. The operations cover 21 primary schools as well as adapted primary school, with a total of approximately 4,500 students. Four of the primary schools are upper secondary schools, while the others, with a few exceptions, cover grades F-6 (preschool class to grade 6). The operations also include after-school centers.

About Bråstorpskolan

Bråstorpskolan, covering grades F-6 and after-school activities, is located centrally in Motala, within walking and cycling distance to most things, in a quiet area surrounded by beautiful nature. The goal of the after-school center is to guide students and interest them in various meaningful leisure activities, as well as to complement the regular school operations. The school's keywords are safety, knowledge, and community, which permeate our operations, and we work with a variety of methods to meet the needs of all students.

Job Responsibilities

At Bråstorpskolan, we are looking for an engaged and development-oriented teacher who wants to take a central role in our work to strengthen teaching in Swedish and mathematics in grades 1-6.

The position involves a targeted development assignment where you, together with colleagues, work systematically to create inclusive and accessible learning environments. The focus is on analyzing needs, implementing measures, and contributing to increased student achievement in Swedish and mathematics.

In this role, you will:

• Be a driving force in the development of teaching in Swedish and mathematics
• Map student needs together with teaching teachers
• Plan, implement, and follow up on measures at the group level
• Work with students in whole classes, smaller groups, and in close collaboration with teachers
• Guide and support colleagues in pedagogical matters
• Participate actively in the school's systematic quality work through documentation and analysis
• Collaborate with the school's student health team (EHT)

You play an important role in creating a shared vision of working methods and contributing to teaching that is accessible, structured, and adapted to students' different needs.

Qualifications

We are looking for you with a teacher education for grades 1-6 with the associated license, as well as special educational needs competence/experience in special educational work.

We assume that you have the students' learning in focus and a desire to contribute to increased achievement. You are a clear leader and have the ability to guide colleagues to thereby create good opportunities for our students to learn and develop. You find it easy to collaborate and create good and trusting relationships with students, guardians, and colleagues at the school. Furthermore, you are proactive, engaged, and want to be involved in developing the operations for the benefit of every student.

In this assignment, you are a central person in the organization, which requires good social competence and teamwork skills, as well as being positive, flexible, and communicative.

You organize and plan your work well, working according to a clear process where you finish what you have started. You set timeframes and meet deadlines.

You take active initiative in social contexts, step forward, and find it easy to create new relationships and maintain relationships.

Working hours: Daytime Monday - Friday
