Munkfors Municipality is now seeking an engaged teacher who wants to become part of the Forsnäs School team during a regular staff member's parental leave.

Description

Forsnäs School, a grades 4–9 school in Munkfors with approximately 225 students, is now seeking a certified teacher who can teach Swedish, Social Studies (SO), English, and Technology in Grade 4. The position also includes mentorship responsibilities for one of the two Grade 4 classes.

The school actively works with issues regarding pedagogical leadership, accessible learning environments, and language- and knowledge-developing teaching methods. Collegial learning and collaboration are natural parts of daily life. The Student Health Service collaborates closely with staff to create the best possible support and learning for each student.

As a teacher with us, you will contribute your pedagogical competence, develop teaching and working methods, and serve as a role model who inspires students every day.

Qualifications

We are looking for you who are a certified teacher in one of the subjects: Swedish, Social Studies (SO), English, or Technology for grades 4–9. Competence in the other subjects is meritorious.

You are flexible, curious, and eager to continuously develop both yourself and the teaching. You work based on scientifically grounded methods and wish to contribute to students receiving high-quality education. You place great importance on creating teaching that meets students' needs and knowledge levels, and you are skilled at building professional relationships with both students and colleagues.

Good teamwork skills and the ability to work in a team are important, as collegial learning is central. You are engaged, clear in your pedagogy, and always keep the student in focus. Experience or special knowledge within NPD (Neurodevelopmental Disorders) is meritorious.

Great emphasis will be placed on personal suitability.

Conditions

The temporary position is full-time (100%) during the regular incumbent's parental leave, starting in August 2026 and expected to last until June 2027.

A certificate of good conduct (extract from the police register) is required before employment, as the position involves working with children.
