Your new job
You will work as a special needs teacher in mathematics or Swedish at Sandagymnasiet. In your role as a special needs teacher, you will meet students who, according to Chapter 3, Section 7 of the Education Act, are entitled to support, students who do not yet have a passing grade from primary school, and students who have failed in the first levels of upper secondary school in mathematics or Swedish. The role includes mentorship, where you provide support and guidance to your students. Together with your dedicated colleagues, you will continuously work to develop and improve teaching for all students. This is done at both the individual and group levels.

Sandagymnasiet in Huskvarna consists of two different school forms: Sanda Gymnasium and Sanda Adapted Upper Secondary School. Sanda Sports Centre is part of the operations, where sports education is conducted during school hours as part of the upper secondary education. There are approximately 1,400 students at Sandagymnasiet, and we have around 200 employees.

Your qualifications
We are now looking for you who have a teacher certification for upper secondary school in mathematics or Swedish. You also have a special needs teacher degree. You have good subject knowledge and are pedagogically skilled. As a teacher, you are a clear leader and keen on creating good and trust-based relationships with the students. You have good IT skills and can naturally use digital tools in your teaching.

From March 1, 2026, extended register checks were introduced for persons who are to work with children. This means you will need to submit an additional extract prior to employment. Before employing new staff for our teaching positions, we must ensure that a valid teacher certification exists.
