Your new job

As a teacher here, you will teach mathematics and provide support to students in the vocational introduction program within the Vehicle and Transport program, both inside and outside the classroom. You will also work with students who lack approved basic school knowledge in mathematics ahead of their transition to national programs.

The main focus of the role is mathematics teaching, but you will also support students in other subjects based on their individual needs. The role also involves identifying and supporting students in need of special support, in collaboration with other teachers and Educational Support Staff (EHT).

You will become an important part of the school community and collaborate closely with students, guardians, teachers, school leadership, and other school staff. Like other teachers, you will also have other assignments, such as mentoring.

Your qualifications

We are primarily looking for you who have a teaching degree and the qualifications to teach mathematics for grades 7–9 and upper secondary school. Other subject combinations may also be of interest.

It is meritorious if you have experience teaching at the upper secondary level and experience working with students in need of extra adjustments and special support. Furthermore, we would appreciate it if you have an interest in or willingness to further educate yourself as a special needs teacher.

We would appreciate it if you enjoy working in smaller teaching groups and with targeted support measures.

As a person, we see that you are responsible, flexible, and relationship-building, and a team player who takes shared responsibility for the operations. You are engaged in developing teaching and student learning, and have the ability to motivate and inspire students and build good relationships with teenagers in upper secondary school. Patience, joy in work, and creativity are important qualities in the role.

Before employing new staff for our teaching positions, we must ensure that there is a valid teaching license. We therefore ask you to attach a current teaching license retrieved from the Swedish National Agency for Education within the last two months.
