Job Description
You will work as a school social worker (counselor) with responsibility for grades 4–6. You will be part of the school's social team, working in a preventive and promotional capacity together with the grade-level student coordinators and the deputy principal. You are also part of the school's student health team alongside other specialists. You will work closely with students in collaboration with the grade-level student coordinator and their mentors. Your duties include conducting social investigations and complex absenteeism investigations.
Qualifications
You hold a degree in Social Work (Social Work/Sociology) and have at least two years of experience working with children and young people. Experience as a school social worker is preferred. Experience working according to the Student Health Act is also considered an advantage.
You have a good understanding of the school's goals and regulatory documents, knowledge of other municipal departments and services such as Child and Adolescent Psychiatry (CAP), as well as knowledge of best practices and guidelines within the field.
As a person, you easily build relationships, can lead yourself in your assignments, and collaborate well. The work can be intensive at times, which requires resilience and stress tolerance.
