Mariebergsskolan is a secondary school with just over 410 students in grades 7–9. The student body represents a cross-section of our society, and approximately 50 staff members work at the school. We are a school to be proud of, with high levels of well-being among both students and staff. We are currently in an exciting phase where we continue to develop the school's health profile, focusing on health-promoting work regarding mental and physical health.

Job Responsibilities

As a music teacher with us, you are expected to plan and conduct lessons that stimulate students' interest in music, while adapting teaching to their individual needs and prerequisites. You should have broad musical competence and be comfortable teaching both theory and practice across several different genres and instruments. You will work both independently and in collaboration with colleagues to create the best possible conditions for our students. As a teacher at Mariebergsskolan, you are also expected to play an active role in the preventive and promoting student health work, with a focus on mental and physical health, accessible learning environments, and school attendance.

Qualifications

We are looking for you who are a certified and qualified teacher in music. Previous experience related to the subject is considered an advantage. You are flexible, calm, have good collaboration skills, and are skilled at building good relationships with students, colleagues, and guardians. Naturally, you have a strong interest in the learning of children and young people. As a person, you are driven, unpretentious, and have a salutogenic approach. You have a good ability to work with other people; to listen, show empathy, and respect.
