We currently have a great need to hire more childcare workers in preschools. We are now looking for you who can work at preschools throughout the entire Stockholm region. We are looking for qualified preschool teachers, qualified childcare workers, and unqualified substitutes with long experience in preschools.

In the preschool, you work on sections with younger children (1–3 years) and older children (3–5 years). As a preschool substitute, your tasks include helping children with meals, dressing and undressing, and play, both indoors and outdoors. You work together with other staff on the section, and you are jointly responsible for ensuring the daily operations run smoothly.

BILDA has collective agreements, offers an introduction training, as well as ongoing coaching support and dialogue with an assigned contact person at BILDA.

To work as a substitute, you need:

• A high school diploma or equivalent
• Previous work experience in preschools in Sweden
• Good ability to speak and write Swedish

Meritorious if you have:

• Relevant education, such as a childcare worker degree or preschool teacher degree.

To fit into the role of a substitute, we believe you have high social competence, are flexible, and are used to taking initiative. You should also thrive in an energetic environment and be engaged and responsible in your work. A key aspect of the substitute role is also your strong interest in working with children and young people.
