Personal assistance is a service under the LSS Act (Support and Service Act for Certain Functionally Disabled). As a personal assistant, you provide individual support and care to individuals who have been granted personal assistance because they need help with one or more basic needs. Every client is unique, and your tasks will vary based on the client's needs. You respect the client's self-determination and privacy, contributing to a smooth daily life.

About the role

The role of a personal assistant places high demands on the ability to build good relationships. Therefore, we are looking for someone who is sensitive, engaged, and responsible. It is also important that you can take initiative and identify what needs to be done.

We are now looking for you who meet the following criteria:

• Wish to work for a 12-year-old girl living in Kungsbacka

• Have good knowledge of Swedish

• Have experience in similar work

• Have experience with low-affective interaction (calm and supportive approach)

• Have experience with alternative communication methods

• Hold a valid B-driver's license

• Have access to your own car

• Have a calm and secure personality

Great importance will be placed on personal suitability.

Working hours, employment level, and salary:

The current form of employment is a "Summer Temporary Position" for weeks 28–31. The position is approximately 75% with good opportunities to work extra shifts. The working hours are active (awake) nights from 23:00–08:00 on weekdays and Sunday 20:00–08:00.

Fixed hourly wage by agreement, and other benefits are paid according to the collective agreement.

Being employed at Humana

A prerequisite for starting employment with us at Humana is that you, as an applicant, can present a valid ID and any documents proving your right to work in Sweden. To work as a personal assistant, you must be at least 18 years old.

According to legislation, we as employers are required to request a certificate of good conduct from all employees who are to work as personal assistants for a child under 18 years of age. Therefore, you must present a certificate from the Swedish Police Authority's criminal record register prior to any potential employment. Further information will be provided if you proceed in the recruitment process.
