Assignment Description

We are currently looking for a Field Quality Design Engineer.

What You Will Work On

• Manage and coordinate Field Quality (FQ) cases related to chassis systems and vehicle components
• Perform technical investigations and drive issue resolution activities
• Execute root cause analysis and define corrective and preventive actions
• Support implementation of design updates and product improvements
• Validate solutions and ensure technical effectiveness before deployment
• Collaborate with production, sourcing, aftermarket, and quality organizations
• Participate in technical reviews and engineering decision-making
• Support engineering change and deviation management processes
• Ensure compliance with customer requirements, internal standards, and regulatory expectations
• Improve methods, processes, and product quality practices
• Contribute to customized and special-order engineering deliveries
• Balance multiple engineering activities in a dynamic project environment

What You Bring

• BSc or MSc in Mechanical Engineering or a related technical discipline
• Experience in design engineering within automotive, heavy vehicle, or industrial environments
• Proven experience handling field quality issues, product deviations, or improvement initiatives
• Strong analytical and structured problem-solving capabilities
• Experience conducting root cause investigations and implementing corrective actions
• Knowledge of quality methodologies such as 8D, FMEA, and Ishikawa
• Experience collaborating across multiple engineering and operational functions
• Ability to communicate technical topics clearly with diverse stakeholders
• Strong ownership mindset and ability to independently drive tasks forward
• Comfortable working with changing priorities and customized engineering solutions
• Professional proficiency in English, written and spoken
