The Education Administration is one of Mjölby Municipality's six administrations and is responsible for preschool, compulsory school, upper secondary school, adapted compulsory and upper secondary school, and adult education. With approximately 1,000 employees, we offer education that promotes all children and students in lifelong learning, working towards the goal of "high knowledge results in a school where everyone can and wants to be". We place great emphasis on working close to operations through regular dialogue and support for school leaders and teachers based on the chain of command.

Vifolkaskolan F-6 is located in the center of Mantorp with approximately 270 students distributed across 10-11 classes in grades F-6. We have a varied schoolyard with lawns, play equipment, swings, bandy, and football fields. Additionally, the school is located at the edge of Klämmestorp Forest, which we use for play, lessons, and recreation. Vifolkaskolan F-6 is also close to the Östgöta commuter train, library, and several sports halls.

Vifolkaskolan F-6 places great emphasis on utilizing everyone's competence and has many years of experience in collaboration between different staff groups. At APT (Work Environment Meetings), we work with Health Factors to strengthen the staff group's good qualities and cohesion.

RESPONSIBILITIES

You work as a qualified teacher in grades 4-6, responsible for planning, conducting, assessing, and evaluating your teaching. You will have class responsibility for a class with your colleagues and your work team as support. You maintain a close and humble dialogue with guardians and plan and conduct development conferences.

Together with your colleagues, you take responsibility for developing teaching to reach as accurately as possible and to have a safe and learning environment for your students.

We are looking for you who want to develop together with us in a positive learning environment and who want to collaborate with your colleagues, both teachers, student health services, and management, to create a safe and secure school.

QUALIFICATIONS

You are a qualified teacher for grades 4-6 in mathematics, Swedish, and English with a Swedish teacher's degree and teacher license. You can grade in the core subjects mathematics, Swedish, and English. You can also teach other theoretical subjects, e.g., Natural Sciences or Social Studies.

You are flexible, structured, and well-prepared. You are a present and co-researching teacher who challenges and stimulates students to develop.

You have the ability to create and maintain good relationships, both with students, colleagues, guardians, and external support. You collaborate well with people in different contexts and functions.

You have the ability to plan and organize your work. You easily set goals, organize resources, follow up, and conclude teaching and other activities.
