We are approximately 350 colleagues within the Child and Education Administration who work within four school areas with children and students aged 1-16. We work to ensure that all children and young people have a good learning environment where they feel safe and are given the opportunity to achieve good results. Welcome to one of our four school areas: Lärcenter, Skived, Ullerud, and Grossbol.

At School Area Grossbol, we are now looking for a preschool teacher for work in a children's group aged 1-5 years. The school area consists of two units with a total of 11 departments located in central Forshaga, as well as a primary school (grades F-6).

Our school area offers an activity where care, development, and learning form a whole. We work consciously with play, which is the path to acquiring new knowledge and is extremely important for children's learning and development. In play, fantasy, empathy, communication, and the ability for symbolic thinking are stimulated, as well as the ability to cooperate and solve problems.

All staff at the preschool have basic training in ICDP/guided interaction. ICDP/guided interaction means being sensitive to each child's needs and showing them respect. Adults interact with the children and start from their thoughts and needs, allowing them to be involved through responsibility according to their own ability.

Job Responsibilities

Your assignment includes pedagogical responsibility, planning, evaluation, analysis, and development of the activity. With us, you have good prerequisites for your assignment in the form of joint and individual planning/reflection time, which is necessary to follow and lead children's development and learning, both individually and in groups. You ensure that every child is given the opportunity for play, learning, and influence. As a preschool teacher, your work is characterized by a clear respect for each individual as well as a good relationship with children, guardians, and colleagues.

With us, you work together in work teams with both preschool teachers and childcare assistants. We have five competence development days where we work with follow-up/analysis as well as training.

Qualifications

We are looking for you who are a licensed preschool teacher. You are responsible and engaged. For the assignment, it is important that you take initiative and that you have a good ability to plan, lead, and prioritize your and your work team's work in an effective manner based on the steering documents.
