Dignus Medical has collaborated for several years with a small emergency hospital in a unique environment, which now needs to strengthen its ENT department with a specialist physician in ear, nose, and throat diseases. The operation is stable, well-functioning, and characterized by close collegial relations and short decision-making paths. If interested, there may also be good opportunities to take on a clinical leadership role in the long term.

About the position

The position is clinical and involves broad outpatient services for both adults and children, with some surgical activities.

  • Approximately 10 outpatient visits per day
  • Common diagnoses within otology, rhinology, and pharyngology
  • Approximately 50% audiological cases
  • Surgical activities 1–2 days per week
  • Common procedures: tonsillectomy, tube insertion, septoplasty, and FESS
  • Skin surgery on the face for cutaneous malignancies is performed
  • Malignancies and thyroid surgery are referred elsewhere
  • No on-call or standby duty

We are looking for someone who

  • Has a Swedish specialist certificate in ear, nose, and throat diseases (ENT)
  • Has good clinical breadth and can work independently
  • Has experience with both adults and children
  • Has good teamwork skills and clear communication

Meritorious:

  • Finnish specialist certificate in ENT
