About the position

Personal assistance is a measure under the LSS Act (Act on Support and Service for Persons with Certain Functional Impairments). In your role as a personal assistant, you will primarily help the client with anything that arises in daily life as well as with basic needs. Your work involves safeguarding the client's self-determination and integrity, and contributing to a smooth daily routine. Each assistance assignment is uniquely adapted to the client's life, so tasks may vary depending on the workplace.

The client is a 66-year-old woman living in Kristianstad. The client's individual needs dictate the workday, and the work may include help with mobility, personal care, as well as household chores and activities both inside and outside the home. The client's interests include creative activities, crafts at home, going on outings, shopping, and reading quietly at home.

Who are you?

The role of personal assistant places high demands on the ability to build good relationships. Therefore, we are looking for someone who is sensitive, engaged, and responsible. It is also important that you can take initiative and see what needs to be done. To thrive as a personal assistant, it is important that there is good personal chemistry between you as the assistant and the client.

As a person, you need to be supportive and motivating, as well as structured and have good communication skills.

The requirements for the position are:

• very good knowledge of Swedish, both spoken and written

• good physical fitness

• tolerance for pets

• non-smoker

The following qualifications are meritorious:

• experience in similar work within healthcare/care or personal assistance

• education in healthcare and care

• experience working or educated in psychiatry

• experience with mobility aids

Great importance will be attached to personal suitability.

Working hours, employment degree, and salary

The current form of employment is "hourly employment" during the summer, which means work on demand with varying working hours during the day, evening, and night on weekdays and weekends. The working hours vary and are 07:00-16:00, 15:00-23:00, and 21:00-09:00, with 5 hours and 50 minutes of on-call time at night.

Fixed hourly wage according to agreement, and other benefits are paid according to the collective agreement.

Start date immediately or according to agreement.
