Nyköping Montessori Preschool is an established parent cooperative with approximately 50 children, divided into a toddler section and two sibling sections. Montessori pedagogy and the Swedish National Curriculum for the Preschool (Lpfö18) form the foundation of our operations. We offer a fantastic environment in historic and charming buildings located in a large, lush garden. Job Description

• As a Preschool Teacher, you lead the systematic quality work on your unit. You are responsible for planning, follow-up, and evaluation of the pedagogical activities based on the preschool curriculum.
• You work together with the team to develop the pedagogical activities and the learning environment, both indoors and outdoors.
• You employ a research-oriented approach and provide children with rich opportunities for participation.
• You actively work to create and maintain good relationships with children, guardians, and colleagues.

Qualifications

• You are a qualified and licensed Preschool Teacher with a good understanding of regulatory documents and current research.
• You can plan, implement, document, and analyze activities according to the preschool curriculum. You have strong verbal and written Swedish skills and are comfortable using digital tools in your work.
• You have a positive, engaged, and empathetic approach. You adapt easily to new situations and working methods.
• You take initiative and enjoy professional development.
• You are a good collaborator with both colleagues and parents.

Merits:

• Training in Montessori pedagogy.
• Experience with Montessori pedagogy.
• 2–3 years of experience as a Preschool Teacher.
