Job Responsibilities

We offer jobs within five different areas:

• Short-term accommodation for children and young people (LSS): We offer a safe environment with individually adapted activities.
• Group homes for adults (LSS): Support in daily life for people in their own apartments. We help with care, leisure activities, and social interaction. Communication also takes place using pictures, signs, and symbols.
• Service apartments for adults (LSS): Support in daily life for people in their own apartments. Here, support is given according to the individual's needs. The goal is to create structure and security in daily life.
• Social psychiatry & housing support (SoL): Support for people with mental health issues in their homes or in housing. Focus on everyday tasks, conversations, and structure.
• Daytime activities & employment (LSS/SoL): We offer varied activities and tasks with a focus on health, community, and participation. Care may be involved.

You will receive an introduction at your chosen workplace and shadow an experienced staff member to ensure you feel confident in your role before starting work.

Regardless of the department, we offer varied work where you meet many people and have different tasks.

As a summer substitute within functional support, you help people of different ages have a meaningful and functional daily life when regular staff are sick or on leave. Tasks may include helping with morning routines, personal hygiene, going on excursions, and encouraging and motivating care recipients in their daily lives.

All planning is in your mobile phone, so it is clear what you are expected to do, but the job may involve encountering many different types of situations that were not anticipated from the start.

We are looking for summer substitutes who can work daytime, evenings, weekends, on-call sleep shifts, or awake night shifts, depending on the department's needs and your availability.

Those who work during the night, whether awake or sleeping on call, contribute to creating security and continuity for our care recipients.

As a temporary substitute before, during, and after the summer, you are offered flexible and meaningful work where you can plan your availability via our booking system, Time Care Pool.

Qualifications

It is a great advantage if you have education and experience within care and social services or social and pedagogical work. You need to be able to learn new things and develop.

There are clear routines that are important to follow to ensure good care for our users. You may, for example, be responsible for dispensing medication. This requires great attention to detail.

It is important that you enjoy working with people. Our users need different types of help and treatment, which is why you need to be pedagogical in your approach. You need to be sensitive to the users' needs and be good at collaborating with your colleagues.

You need to be able to take initiative and have the ability to prioritize when several things happen simultaneously.

You need to understand, write, and speak Swedish.

You need to be able to handle the IT systems necessary for the job, which requires computer proficiency.

You must be 18 years or older. The age limit is set due to specific regulations according to the Working Environment Act. Regulations regarding the working environment for minors are regulated in AFS 2012:3.

In several of our operations, you need to have a driver's license, but it is not required everywhere.
