We are now looking for an Account Manager for Region West who wants to develop business within the construction, contracting, and infrastructure industries. Here, sales is about building long-term relationships, driving business at a high pace, and taking joint responsibility for our results.

Your day-to-day as an Account Manager

Here, you don't wait for business to come to you – you are where the customers are and where decisions are made. You drive proactive sales, create new business, and develop collaborations within the construction and contracting industries. You own the entire sales process from first contact to closing, plan your customer portfolio, and keep your pipeline organized. But you never do it alone. You collaborate closely with colleagues, share insights, jump in on joint business where needed, and celebrate successes together.

In this role, you will:

  • Create new business and develop existing customers through proactive sales and active prospecting.
  • Build and develop the customer portfolio within the construction and contracting segment.
  • Drive the entire business process from prospecting and needs analysis to quote, negotiation, and closing.
  • Identify and propose solutions that improve the customer's waste management from both an economic and sustainability perspective.
  • Build long-term relationships with decision-makers and act as a trusted advisor.
  • Work systematically in our CRM to maintain full visibility of your pipeline and consistently follow up on your deals.
  • Ensure business quality through analysis, calculations, and commercial prioritization.
  • Participate in tenders and commercial initiatives together with the team.
  • Contribute to the development of working methods, tools, and sales processes.
  • The role involves travel within the region and a high presence at customer sites.

You maintain focus and pace even in longer sales processes and drive your deals all the way to the finish line.

Qualifications

  • At least 3 years of experience in B2B service sales and proactive sales.
  • Experience from the construction industry (understanding of the sector's needs and conditions).
  • Experience in direct customer responsibility and relationship sales.
  • Valid driver's license (Category B) (travel within the region is a prerequisite for the role).
  • Very good knowledge of Swedish and good knowledge of English (spoken and written).
  • Good system proficiency and good knowledge of the Office suite.

Advantageous

  • Deeper industry knowledge within the construction, contracting, or infrastructure industries.
  • Post-secondary sales education (e.g., IHM or equivalent).

  • Location: Based at our office in Hisings Backa, but your day-to-day largely revolves around meetings out in the field with our customers.
  • Scope: Full-time.
  • Working hours: Office hours, with flexibility.
