Fixa Assistans is a family-oriented assistance company with extensive experience in personal assistance for both children and adults. Our head office is located in Karlshamn, and we operate throughout southern Sweden. We are now looking for engaged temporary substitutes who can step in and work with us when regular assistants are sick, have sick children, or are simply on leave. You may work as a substitute for both children and adults, during daytime, evenings/nights, and weekends. You will usually be called in with short notice, but it can also involve planned shifts or longer-term sick leave substitutions. If you are studying, this is the perfect part-time job for you. Schedules can always be adjusted if you can only work evenings and weekends due to studies, for example.

We are primarily looking for you who have some form of education regarding disabilities or are currently studying in this field, and/or have experience working within the disability sector. Previous experience in personal assistance is a plus. We also place great importance on personal chemistry and individual traits, so do not hesitate to apply even if you do not have the aforementioned education or experience. You must not have any physical limitations, as the role of a personal assistant often involves helping with mobility, although assistive devices are always available.

As a person, you must be responsible, sensitive, flexible, patient, and able to take initiative and adapt your work to the user's needs. You must have a good ability to read needs and wishes, even if they are not always expressed verbally. The work pace is usually mixed. A driver's license and access to your own car are mandatory at some workplaces. You should be a non-smoker.

The nature of the work requires you to be fluent in speaking and understanding Swedish, for example, to be able to understand and read various instruction and checklist documents, as well as to document in writing.
