Junibacken Preschool is located in a beautiful natural setting right next to a forest area. Our preschool consists of three departments: younger children, older children, and the oldest children. At the preschool, we lay the foundation for lifelong learning. We aim to create a developmental and inspiring environment for play, teaching, and learning, where everyone respects each other, shows consideration, and takes responsibility for themselves and their surroundings. The outdoor environment is a major resource in our work.

We are now looking for a secure and engaged resource staff member for the preschool. The position involves providing targeted support to one or more children in need of extra adjustments, in close collaboration with the other work teams. As a resource staff member, you work closely with the child/children throughout the day and contribute to security, structure, and participation in the activities. You are an important support in both play, learning, and daily situations.

Responsibilities

You will provide individually adapted support in all occurring situations within the preschool. You work to build relationships and a sense of security, and support play, interaction, and activities. You collaborate closely with educators and guardians, and follow pedagogical plans and agreed-upon working methods.

Qualifications

We are looking for someone who:

• has at least a high school education,
• has experience working with children in a preschool setting,
• has a good ability to build relationships,
• has experience working with children in need of support,
• is calm, secure, responsive, and clear in your approach,
• is stress-resistant, flexible, and has good teamwork skills.

It is an advantage if you are trained as a preschool assistant or have other relevant education and experience with clarifying pedagogy.

Conditions

Fixed-term employment during autumn 2026 with the possibility of extension. Work in a preschool requires a certificate of good conduct (extract from the criminal record).
