We are now looking for you who are trained as a preschool assistant (barnskötarassistent) or preschool teacher assistant (barnskötare) for our preschools in the Duved school district.

Our vision for the preschool

Our vision is to create the "Preschool of Opportunities" – a democratic meeting place and the children's arena, where all adults stand up for children's rights. The preschools in Duved have adopted a project-based working method where adults are responsible for the quality of the preschool's education based on the children's interests. We listen to what the children express and build meaningful content together with them, based on the curriculum's core values, mission, goals, and guidelines. We want the preschool to be a place that both children and adults look forward to.

Your responsibilities

Your duties consist of both working with the children and working for the children:

• Working with the children: Working in children's groups with teaching and care.
• Working for the children: Systematic quality work with documentation and reflection, individually and together with colleagues, as well as communication with guardians.

You will be part of a work team together with preschool teachers and other preschool assistants. The preschool teacher is responsible for ensuring the quality of the preschool's education and teaching, which you carry out together in the work team.

Qualifications and merits

• You have a preschool assistant education or other education that benefits work in children's groups at the preschool.
• You participate in the work to develop the preschool's quality based on our curriculum and other governing documents.
• As a person, you are relationship-building, curious, and responsible, and you want to work together with both children and adults.
• You can work both individually and together with colleagues.
• You express yourself well in Swedish, both orally and in writing.
• You have basic digital skills to perform digital notes in our programs Unikum and within Microsoft Office, and you master documenting in images and text for our systematic quality work.

Previous experience from work within the preschool sector is an advantage.
