About the Position

Tingvallaskolan is a primary school (grades F-6) with two to three parallel classes in each grade level, as well as two after-school centers. We work preventively and promotively to create an attractive environment that provides safety, well-being, and a calm working atmosphere for the students. We are now looking for a primary school teacher with teaching certification for grades 4–6. We would prefer that you have the subject combination of English (EN), Swedish (SV), and Mathematics (MA).

Responsibilities

The position also includes mentorship. You will make a difference for our students by believing in their abilities and encouraging creativity and curiosity. You will show and make it clear to every student that they can succeed, both in big and small matters, throughout the school day!

Qualifications

We are looking for you who are a graduated teacher with certification for work in grades 4–6. We would prefer that you have the subject combination of English, Swedish, and Mathematics.

You have the ability to design teaching in accordance with curricula, subject plans, and current knowledge criteria. You take responsibility for and have insight into students' results and needs, and you structure and adapt your teaching to create a safe and adequate learning environment. You involve the student in the planning and develop the student's ability to learn, both independently and together with others.

You are secure, stable, have self-awareness, and are a clear leader in the classroom. You value and create good conditions for cooperation and build good relationships with students, parents, and colleagues.

You plan, organize, prioritize, and analyze your lesson structure as well as other duties included in your role in an effective manner.

We place great emphasis on personal suitability.

Conditions

The position is a temporary assignment starting from 2026-08-11 to 2026-12-18, with the possibility of extension. Interviews will be held continuously during the recruitment period, and the position may be filled before the scheduled date.
