About the position

Höglundaskolan is part of Säffle Municipality's Child and Education Administration and is organizationally part of the Western School Area, led by the principal and deputy principal. Approximately 260 students attend the school in grades F-6, including preschool class and after-school care. We also have students in adapted school forms (both subjects and subject areas) from grade 1–9, as well as on individual programs. Our support structures offer ample access to school health personnel, including school nurses, school counselors, special education teachers, social pedagogues, and student coaches.

Within our school area, we want every student to develop into their best self. Students should feel safe and well-being at school, have trust in the adults around them, and experience stimulating and challenging teaching.

Your personal qualities

You are a responsible and clear-headed educator with a positive attitude and good communication skills. You have a welcoming manner and find it easy to build good relationships with students, guardians, and colleagues.

Your responsibilities

Your responsibilities include mentorship, as well as planning, implementing, documenting, and evaluating teaching in accordance with steering documents. You teach, lead, inspire, and develop students, and maintain good contact and close collaboration with guardians regarding students' development towards goals. Teaching will take place in grades F-3. Together with other teachers at the school, you create a good and accessible learning environment and contribute to development work within the team and the school as a whole.

Your main responsibilities include:

• Taking responsibility for and having insight into students' results, which means being attuned to each student's conditions and needs.
• Having high expectations of students and their ability to develop.
• Capturing and stimulating students' curiosity, interest, and learning.
• Taking responsibility for your own development and growing in your profession.

Qualifications

We are looking for you who are a certified teacher for grades F-3 with broad eligibility. It is meritorious if you are eligible in core subjects.

Great importance will be attached to personal suitability.

Conditions

Permanent full-time position with start date as agreed.
