BAE Systems Hägglunds in Örnsköldsvik is in an expansion phase due to new billion-dollar deals!

We now need to strengthen our team with a Preparation Specialist/Planner within the Prototype and Hull department.

Your future challenge

You will prepare and plan the products manufactured through sheet metal preparation, welding, and machining. Your main responsibilities include:

• Performing make-or-buy analysis.
• Reporting if manufacturing documentation is incorrect or if improvements can be made for efficiency.
• Ensuring preparation documentation is kept up to date.
• Making changes to documentation such as operation lists and bills of materials.
• Scheduling jobs in the workshop, following up on deliveries, and reporting any deviations.
• Actively participating in improvement work aimed at reducing costs while increasing quality and delivery reliability.

Reporting is done to the Head of Preparation/Planning/Purchasing/DPL.

Who you are

We believe you have an academic education at the university level, or equivalent practical experience. Practical experience in cutting machining, sheet metal preparation, and production technology work directed towards the workshop is advantageous. We would appreciate experience in working with preparation and/or planning. Experience working in the SAP business system or another ERP system is advantageous. As we are an international corporation, you need to have knowledge of Swedish and English.

As a person, you are structured and have high self-drive. You collaborate well and thrive in an independent role. You are a problem solver who works with a clear focus on goals.
