We are looking for a Payroll Manager for a company in Jönköping. The start date is June 1st for an initial fixed-term assignment of 7 months. This role is 100% onsite in Jönköping.

The role of Payroll Manager is a key position with overall responsibility for payroll and compensation processes. You ensure that payroll management, compensation, and benefits are accurate, competitive, and compliant with applicable laws, regulations, and collective agreements, while supporting the company's goals. The role involves developing, managing, and ensuring a well-functioning payroll and compensation strategy, where the payroll process is a central operational part. You also drive the development and continuous improvement of processes, working methods, and systems related to payroll, focusing on quality, efficiency, and control. Additionally, the role includes leadership where you coach and develop the team, acting as an expert support and advisor to management and the organization regarding payroll and compensation matters.

Key Responsibilities:

• Overall responsibility for payroll and compensation processes, focusing on quality, delivery, and timelines.
• Drive development and continuous improvement of processes, labor law compliance, and system support within payroll and C&B.
• Ensure regulatory compliance regarding tax, labor law, and collective agreements, and be responsible for controls, follow-ups, and audits related to payroll and compensation.
• Lead, coach, and develop direct reports.
• Act as expert support to the organization in payroll and C&B matters, and establish and develop good collaborations with relevant stakeholders.
• Ensure efficient use, management, and further development of the payroll system (Visma Agda PS).
• Be responsible for and further develop processes and frameworks within the C&B area, including salary structures, benefits, and incentive programs.

Requirements:

• University college education as a payroll specialist or equivalent education and/or knowledge expected through work experience.
• At least 5 years of experience in qualified payroll work.
• Experience in driving or having overall responsibility for the payroll process.
• Experience in leadership roles.
• Experience with Visma Agda PS or a comparable payroll system.
• Experience in payroll management for collective agreement employees (BC).
• Experience working in the C&B area.
• Good knowledge of tax legislation, labor law, and collective agreements.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Background in other HR areas.
• Experience from the TMF Wood Industry Agreement.
• Further education in payroll, labor law, or leadership.

This role requires fluent Swedish and very good English skills.
