About the position

Personal assistance is a support measure under the LSS Act (Act concerning Support and Service for Certain Functionally Disabled People). In your role as a personal assistant, you will primarily help the customer with everyday matters and basic needs. Your work involves safeguarding the customer's self-determination and integrity, contributing to a smooth daily routine. Each assistance assignment is uniquely adapted to the customer's life, so tasks may vary depending on the workplace.

Our customer is a 57-year-old man living in Degeberga. He lives with an acquired brain injury and needs support and help with everything in his daily life.

He enjoys going on outings and various activities and has a great interest in cars, motors, and folk racing. The assistants currently working with the customer have all worked together for many years, forming a wonderful team with great care for each other and the customer.

Who are you?

The role of a personal assistant places high demands on the ability to build good relationships. We are therefore looking for someone who is sensitive, engaged, and responsible. It is also important that you can take initiative and see what needs to be done. To thrive as a personal assistant, it is crucial that there is good personal chemistry between you and the customer.

We would like you to be a positive, flexible, responsible, and structured person with good self-awareness and experience in meeting people's diverse needs.

Requirements for the position:

• Previous experience working in healthcare/care or as a personal assistant.
• Good knowledge of Swedish, both spoken and written.
• Category B driver's license and access to a car (to commute to work).
• Good physical condition.
• No fur/animal allergy, as there are cats in the customer's home.

Merits for the position:

• Experience with mobility aids.
• Experience with low-affective approach (calm and structured interaction).

Personal suitability will be given great weight.

Working hours, degree of employment, and salary

The current employment type is "Fixed-term contract" from 2026-06-01 to 2027-06-04 with an employment degree of approximately 70%. Shifts are scheduled on weekdays and weekends according to a rotating schedule. Working hours vary, including e.g., 07:00–14:00, 09:00–14:00, 07:00–16:00, 13:00–21:30, and 14:00–21:30.

Fixed hourly wage according to agreement, and other benefits are paid according to the collective agreement.

Start date: Immediately or according to agreement.
