HELLO!

I am a 22-year-old girl with a unique personality. I have Wiedemann-Steiner syndrome, a rare condition that presents certain challenges but also brings me much joy. I have autistic traits and need support in my daily life. You will work with me at my residence and also accompany me on days to my day activity program where I work.

I enjoy participating in daily activities, such as helping out in the laundry room and being around other people. Clothes, my stuffed animals, riding the elevator, exploring libraries, museums, and shopping malls are some of my favorite things. Excursions and new adventures outside the home are part of our routine – I need your support to feel brave enough to try new things. Sometimes I just want to relax and watch a movie.

Your responsibilities:

• Support me with daily tasks such as personal hygiene, toilet visits, dressing and undressing, cleaning, shopping, and cooking.
• Be a safe, calm, and empathetic presence.
• Help me participate in activities and excursions, and support me in trying new things.
• Be positive, fun-loving, and have a big, warm heart.

Qualifications that are a plus:

• Knowledge of low-affective interaction and visual support.
• Experience with PECS/Signs as an alternative and augmentative communication (AAC).
• Familiarity with PEG (button on the stomach).

Who are you?

• Experience working with people with disabilities or within the care sector is a plus.
• Female.
• You are active, responsible, and have a mature attitude towards work tasks.
• Good communication skills and the ability to build relationships.
• Flexibility and creativity in coming up with new activities.
• Ability to work both independently and in a team.

HOURS AND PERCENTAGE OF EMPLOYMENT

Days, night shifts, and weekends, 07:00–18:00, 18:00–07:00 with on-call duty.

50–85 %
