Särnmark currently has over 3,500 employees, and our customers and staff are located throughout Sweden. Särnmark's headquarters are in Sundbyberg, but we also have offices in other parts of Sweden.

We are now looking for a personal assistant for a young woman with Down syndrome.

As a personal assistant, it is important that you are responsible. To thrive in this role, it is also important that you can work independently. We place great emphasis on personal suitability. Female applicants only.

The position is part-time, scheduled for 1–3 weekday afternoons per week between 15:30–20:30, and every other or every third weekend, or as agreed. During weekends and when the customer is off from day activities, shifts are usually scheduled between 10:00–18:00.

If you are a student and want to work afternoons into the evening, approx. 15:30–20:30, for about 10 hours a week, this might be the perfect job for you. We prefer that you are of a similar age to the customer, approx. 20–30 years old. Female applicants only. The customer lives just outside Uppsala with her parents. She attends day activities and comes home around 15:30. The assistant meets the transport bus, and the shift begins. The assistant spends time with the customer engaging in activities such as walks, reading, playing games, crafts, and having dinner together. Experience with using an inhaler and PEG tube is a merit, but we place the greatest emphasis on personal suitability and chemistry.

We are looking for a down-to-earth person, confident in themselves, with an interest in development and learning. A pedagogical interest is a plus. The customer has an intellectual disability and needs support in her learning and stimulation.

The employment is for a fixed term as long as the assistance assignment lasts, and the pay is hourly.

Salary and other terms of employment according to the collective agreement for Personal Assistance, Vårdföretagarna – Kommunal.
