We are now looking for a Senior UX Designer for a consultancy assignment at the Swedish Tax Agency (Skatteverket), where you will work with internal digital services, complex information flows, and user-centered development in cross-functional agile teams.
In this role, you are responsible for ensuring a user-centered approach and that the solutions developed meet users' needs and expectations. You will work long-term on developing interaction, structure, and flows in internal digital interfaces – from insights and analysis to prototypes, usability tests, and final design sketches for the development team.
You will work closely with product owners, developers, testers, business stakeholders, and end-users. The work is conducted agilely according to SAFe, and you will become part of a larger design context with UX designers, service designers, UX copywriters, and other competencies. There is also an established design system integrated with Figma.
Your main responsibilitiesYou will among other things:
- Drive UX work through the entire design process
- Generate user insights through qualitative and quantitative methods
- Create flows, wireframes, prototypes, and design sketches in tools such as Figma
- Conduct usability tests and analyze results
- Work with accessibility and evaluation according to WCAG 2.1 or later
- Contribute to the further development of complex internal digital services and systems
- Collaborate closely with cross-functional teams within IT, business, and user groups
- Work based on components in the design system and design-driven methods
- At least 8 years of current experience as a UX designer, interaction designer, or equivalent
- At least 3 years of experience with qualitative and quantitative user research, such as interviews, usability testing, and analysis tools
- Several years of current experience in web accessibility, including compliance and evaluation of WCAG 2.1 or later
- Experience with digital services or systems with complex structures, large amounts of information, and significant data
- Current experience with design tools, preferably Figma
- Experience working with components in a design system
- Documented experience with methods within a design-driven approach
- Completed education in UX/interaction design, such as a university degree, vocational college education (KY/YH), or other relevant training

About the assignmentThis is a consultancy assignment where you will contribute to socially important digital development in an environment with high UX maturity, established working methods, and a strong focus on inclusion, accessibility, and user benefit.
We would appreciate if you have experience with large organizations, complex system landscapes, and agile working methods according to SAFe.
