About the job:

The Department of Community Development is one of four departments in Kinda Municipality. The other departments are the Care and Social Services Department, the Education Department and the Municipal Executive Department. The Department of Community Development develops society and has a broad mandate. We offer a workplace with creative conversations, a high tempo and solution-focused working methods. The department consists of approx. 100 engaged employees with varying roles and areas of work. Right now we are looking for you who want to develop together with us and our water and wastewater operations. We see every employee as an important player and therefore you should work with us!

Tasks:

You will be placed within the Water & Waste Department, which is responsible for the municipality's water and wastewater treatment plants, water towers, pressure boosting stations, pump stations, water and sewer networks, recycling stations and waste facilities. Here you will be part of the department's Technology & Environment group.

We offer you a job as an engineer with a large variation of tasks within investigation, renewal, expansion, problem solving, development, customer and connection issues to flow and capacity calculations, action proposals, design, construction / project management to finished solution.

System administration of the business system VA-banken will also be included.

Since the work is largely carried out independently, you have great opportunities to influence the organization of daily work.

Qualifications:

We want you to have a technical education at least at university level within e.g. Roads and Water, Water and Environmental Engineering, Water and Wastewater Engineering or other education or experience that the employer considers equivalent. We see that you who apply have at least a few years of practical experience from work as a Water and Wastewater Engineer, investigation engineer or similar within water and wastewater, you also have experience in conducting investigation work, capacity and flow calculations and experience of design work within water and wastewater.

If you have knowledge of business systems for water and sewer networks, LAV (the Water and Wastewater Act), Base P/U, AMA, contract law, water and wastewater tariffs, it is positive.

Since the work involves a lot of contact internally and with property owners, consultants and contractors, authorities, it is important that you are a good communicator who has an easy time expressing yourself well in Swedish in both speech and writing.

You are a person who can and enjoys working both independently and in collaboration with others and is careful, structured, responsible, proactive and service-oriented. For us, it is very important how you are as a person, so that you enjoy working with us and we with you.

A B driving license and good computer skills are required for the position.
