About the Role
We are now looking for a Group Manager for the Linköping, Norrköping, and Uppsala regions. The optimal place of residence for this position is Linköping or Norrköping and surrounding areas. The role is responsible for ensuring efficient and well-functioning daily operations within the contracting production through clear prioritization and good foresight. As Group Manager, you coordinate resources and lead and support technicians and project managers in their work. The role therefore involves remote leadership and requires an engaged person who is active, present on-site, and has a good ability to build relationships and follow up even if the team is geographically dispersed. A central part of the assignment is also to ensure that projects are carried out with good profitability and set margin goals.
Examples of Responsibilities:
- Personnel responsibility for, currently, eight technicians and two project managers
- Responsibility for appointing the optimal project organization for each assignment
- Daily planning and coordination
- Prioritization of assignments and resources
- Ensure quality and process compliance
- Continuously follow up and evaluate project economics, invoicing, time reporting
- Develop employees
- Act as an escalation point
- Ensure documentation and follow-up
- Responsible for correct handling of claims during ongoing production
- Actively contribute to developing and streamlining project operations, providing improvement suggestions and insights.
The position is a permanent full-time employment with Byggbeslag. In the role of Group Manager, you report to the Production Manager Projects. The role involves travel and overnight stays.
We are looking for
We are looking for you with relevant post-secondary education in, for example, economics/construction, or equivalent work experience. We believe you have previous experience in roles such as Foreman, Project Manager, Site Manager, or similar within construction projects. Consequently, you have knowledge of construction contracting, its regulations, and flows. Great focus will be placed on leadership where we seek a person with a good ability to engage and build a strong team on our journey forward. Since the role involves remote leadership, we would appreciate if you have prior experience in this. We are also looking for a driven person who wants to contribute to development.
Important skills and qualities:
- Confident and engaged leader with experience from development journeys
- Flexible, structured, and orderly
- Ability to create teams and build team spirit
- Good ability regarding communication and coordination
- Ability to prioritize quickly
- Understanding of both technology and customer requirements
- Knowledge of regulations (contracting law)
- Administrative skills (Computer literacy, Windows – Word, Excel, PowerPoint)
- Driver's license (Category B)
