Do you want to develop within economics and project management in large and technically advanced infrastructure projects? We are now looking for a contracting engineer with a focus on economics and quantity surveying for projects in Central Sweden. Currently, we are engaged in, for example, the E22 Söderköping Bypass – a large, complex, and technically advanced infrastructure project. This role is suitable for you who want to build a solid foundation in quality, economics, and production.

About Region Infra

Region Infra is a new region established at the turn of the year, focusing on consolidating and further developing our competence in infrastructure. We work on large and complex projects within, among other things:

• Roads and railways
• Bridges, including movable bridges in the project portfolio
• Harbors, quays, and marine facilities
• Wastewater treatment plants and waterworks
• Complex industrial projects

About the role

As a contracting engineer, you work closely with the project manager, site leadership, and production. The role combines administration, analysis, and close collaboration with production.

You will report to Joakim Blücher, an engaged and present leader who values collaboration, clarity, and development. Here you will have the opportunity to take responsibility and grow in your role.

The work group you belong to primarily works on projects in Central Sweden. In the long term, you may also work on other projects within our geography, which means you need to be mobile during the work week.

Your responsibilities

• Support in quantity surveying
• Follow-up of contracts and bills of quantities
• Collection and quality assurance of data from production
• Support to project management in economic and commercial matters
• Administrative work related to the project's economic control and forecasting

Meritorious:

• Knowledge of AMA-anläggning (Swedish standard for construction works).

Who are you?

We are looking for you who are meticulous, structured, and curious to develop within contracting and economics. You thrive in collaboration and would like to work close to the operations. Your flexibility and desire to grow make you an important part of our team.

We see that you have:

• Relevant university education in construction, infrastructure, engineering, or economics
• Experience from construction or infrastructure projects is meritorious but not a requirement
• Basic understanding of economics and production
• Good computer skills and interest in digital systems
• Fluency in Swedish (written and spoken)
• Class B driver's license and ability to travel for work (Mon–Thu on-site at the project)
