About the role
Academic Work is now looking for a Cost Engineer for OBOS, located in Myresjö, Jönköping, or Växjö. OBOS is one of the leading residential developers in the Nordic region. Whether you are a newly graduated construction engineer or have extensive experience as a Cost Engineer, you will step into a stable company with great opportunities for development and growth. In this role, you will belong to the Costing and Master Data group, which currently consists of a wonderful team of 8 employees. As a Cost Engineer, you will primarily work with the B2B and Project Development business areas. You will be responsible for creating offer- and project-specific cost estimates based on customer drawings, technical descriptions, and the company's production prerequisites. You will be part of a work group where everyone is responsible for their own cases and drives their work independently, while the work is permeated by collaboration on administrative tasks, improvement work, and the development of routines. The role involves broad internal contacts, where you, among other things, collaborate with project managers within the production unit, business developers within B2B, project developers within internal project operations, as well as the purchasing department.

You have analytical skills and a strong interest in working with numbers, and you have an understanding of the connection between technology, production, and economics. Responsibilities
The role involves, among other things, being responsible for the economic calculations and technical basis for OBOS construction projects and the factory's production. Your tasks will include, among other things:
- Analyzing drawing materials and calculating internal material offers
- Compiling internal offer documents with delivery descriptions and accompanying documentation
- Collaborating closely with production and other business areas to ensure clear boundaries and correct documentation
- Participating in tender work and technical reviews
- Creating cost estimates for changes, additions, and price adjustments
We are looking for you who
- Have an engineering or University College degree in construction technology or equivalent, or have acquired relevant experience through work life experience.
- Have good experience reading drawings and working in business systems.
- Have good knowledge of Microsoft Excel and the rest of the Office package.
- Have experience working in Bluebeam.
- Speak fluent Swedish in speech and writing.
It is meritorious if you have
- Experience of costing work within the construction industry.
- Basic knowledge of Autodesk Revit.
- Knowledge of the costing program Wikells.
