Personal Assistant for a 19-Year-Old Girl on Bolmsö

Alma Assistans is the dedicated company that creates personal assistance in collaboration with the client. We work closely with our clients and know that good relationships are the key to successful assistance. We operate throughout Sweden with our headquarters in Uppsala and local offices in Gävle, Stockholm, Gothenburg, Helsingborg, Jönköping, and Växjö.

I am a 19-year-old girl living on Bolmsö with my family. Since I was born with cerebral palsy (CP), I need some extra support in my daily life. I need help with everything from hygiene to assisting me in everyday tasks.

Important qualities include: sensitivity, respect, openness, and reliability.

I am looking for an open-minded person, as I am engaged in both LGBTQ+ issues and the equality of all people. I have, among other things, given lectures on what it is like to live with a disability. For us to get along, it is important that you are open to differences. As I am at the beginning of my career, you as an assistant will also be a helping hand at work. It is important that you can take charge when needed, but above all, that you know when to step back and let me take the lead.

My interests are skiing, music, and film. I am a big fan of "Young Royals" and Omar Rydberg.

You will be part of a team, so it is important that you are a team player and understand that helping each other is crucial for me to manage my daily life. Assistive devices used include a lift and a wheelchair.

One of my assistants is currently on leave until the summer. Therefore, I am looking for someone who can take at least 1 day shift per week on a weekday until the summer. During the summer, there is an opportunity for full-time summer work for the right person.

Requirements:

• Female, aged 20-40
• Fluent in Swedish
• Experience working in healthcare
• Driver's license and car

Shifts are scheduled throughout all hours of the day, including evenings and weekends. Shifts may vary but are mostly day shifts (24-hour shifts). We are looking for temporary replacements! Work shifts are scheduled 9-9.
