About the position:

We are currently looking for a curate (associate priest) with primary duties at St. Maria Church and in the central parts of the parish. We are looking for a priest who wants to contribute to a continued vibrant worship life, meaningful church services, and work for theological deepening, lectures, and discussion groups on faith and life.

About us:

We are a parish with a rich worship life where our three different churches have their own profiles. We have nine choirs in the parish, a large concert program, and an active confirmation and youth work in a pastorate with visions and good finances, with both strong local and international engagement.

In Maria Parish, we are 33 employees, including one parish priest and eight curates. Two of these work at the Hospital Church and one works half-time at the detention center.

Helsingborg is a beautiful place to live, with the sea, sandy beaches, beech forests, rolling fields, and Denmark very close by. A city with 150,000 inhabitants, everything within cycling distance, its own symphony orchestra and city theater, a rich sports and club life, cozy cafes, many restaurants, three cold-water bathing areas, playgrounds, and beautiful hiking trails. It is easy to feel at home here.
