Family Home Consultant

Allas Trygghet has, for nearly ten years, been helping municipalities recruit, investigate, match, and supervise foster homes throughout southern Sweden. We are now looking for a colleague who wants to join us on our journey forward.

At present, we are in an expansion phase where we actively work to connect more foster homes and municipalities to us for a collaboration where the child's best interest is always the focus. Our strength lies in our commitment to building and maintaining strong relationships with both our clients and the foster homes we work with, which leads to a shared vision and good results.

We are looking for a social worker with experience in foster care. We are seeking you who have experience in the role of foster home secretary within social services or as a family home consultant in private operations. It is a requirement that you have experience in investigating foster homes according to the Kälvesten method or another established method. Experience and training in supervising foster homes are also meritorious. Most of the foster homes we collaborate with today are located in the southern parts of the country, but we are actively recruiting more foster homes to collaborate with in other parts of the country, so your place of residence is not decisive as many of our meetings take place digitally.

With us, you will become part of a team with a wealth of combined experience and competence. Much of the work is performed remotely, but some travel is included in the job. The working hours are flexible, with normal working hours between 08:00–17:00 on weekdays. However, it may occasionally be required that some meetings and visits are scheduled outside of these hours. Since we offer 24-hour availability for our foster homes, you will eventually also be part of the on-call rotation with phone duty for one week each month.

Requirements:

• University degree in Social Work (Social Worker)
• Experience in foster care
• Valid driver's license (Category B)
• Access to a car

Meritorious:

• Experience in investigating and/or supervising foster homes
• Experience with both municipal and private foster care
• An established network of contacts with municipalities and foster homes
