Senior Requirements Analyst

Banking, Finance & Insurance – Consulting Role

We are looking for an experienced Senior Requirements Analyst who wants to lead requirements work in complex transformation and procurement projects for our clients within banking, finance, and insurance. You are advisory, close to the business, and accustomed to taking the lead in environments with high demands for regulatory compliance and traceability.

In the role

• Lead requirements work in large-scale change and procurement projects, from needs analysis to approved requirement specifications.
• Drive process and needs analysis (as-is/to-be) with the business side and translate this into functional and non-functional requirements.
• Prepare and quality-assure procurement documentation (RFI/RFP/RFQ) and support evaluation and vendor management.
• Ensure requirement traceability from business needs to acceptance criteria, testing, and delivery follow-up.
• Coach and mentor less senior requirements analysts and contribute to developing the client's requirements process and methodology.

Must-have qualifications

• At least 8 years of documented experience in requirements work within large IT and business projects.
• Experience from banking, finance, or insurance – preferably from multiple clients or companies.
• Experience leading requirements work (e.g., Requirements Lead, Lead Business Analyst, or similar).
• Experience in creating requirement documentation prior to procurement and vendor management during the implementation phase.
• Proficient in leading workshops and requirement dialogues with both management and development teams.
• Experience in process, information, and concept modeling, as well as tools such as Jira, Confluence, and/or Azure DevOps.
• An academic degree in systems science, economics, engineering, or equivalent – or a comparable background.
• Fluent in Swedish and English, both written and spoken.

Nice-to-have qualifications

• Experience with requirements work in at least one regulatory context (e.g., DORA, PSD2, AML/KYC, GDPR, Basel III/IV, IFRS 9/17, or Solvency II).
• Experience in developing requirements processes, methodologies, or frameworks for clients.
• Certification in requirements analysis (IREB CPRE Foundation/Advanced/Expert, CBAP, REQB) or agile frameworks (SAFe, Scrum).
• Experience from core systems within banking (core banking, payments, cards, loans, capital markets) or insurance (life, property & casualty, pensions).
• Experience with third-party management according to DORA / EBA guidelines.
• Experience with modeling tools such as EA Sparx or equivalent.
