Who are we?

Uttersbergsskolan is located in Krokek, Kolmården. We have approximately 350 children from preschool class to year 3, and our staff consists of about 53 employees and two school leaders. The school and after-school center are divided into four sections: preschool classes, year 1, year 2, and year 3.

The preschool class works with language acquisition according to the Bornholm Method. Mathematics instruction follows the teaching design "Think, Reason, and Calculate" from preschool class through year 3. For the past two years, we have chosen to focus on early interventions in Swedish, particularly in year 1, where staff from the student health team work together with year 1 class teachers. This is an initiative where we are seeing positive results.

In the autumn of 2022, the school had the opportunity to join the municipality's initiative "Collaboration for the Best School." Over three years, we worked on targeted interventions in various target areas together with the education office, interventions we continue to work with. Students at Uttersbergsskolan have high goal fulfillment, but finding new paths for student success is always relevant.

One of our teachers is on parental leave during the autumn term of 2026, and we now have a vacant position as a class teacher in year 1.

Your responsibilities

We are now looking for you who are an engaged and certified teacher for grades F-3 to strengthen our existing organization. You will belong to a grade-level work team, where you, together with other educators, are responsible for planning, implementing, and evaluating the operations.

You follow up on students' learning, development, and goal fulfillment individually and together with the work team, the after-school center, and the school's student health team.

You actively participate in the school's and work team's joint tasks and are generous and curious, contributing your ideas, experiences, and engagement.

Who are you?

We are looking for you who are a certified teacher for instruction in grades F-3 and have experience in pedagogical work.

You are a clear leader and have an easy time building good, positive relationships with students, colleagues, and guardians. You see school development as a natural part of your work. You have a desire to develop yourself in your work and are well-versed in the school's steering documents. You have a good ability to communicate clearly and adapt your language to the target group.

As a person, you work well with other people, are creative and proactive, and at the same time structured.

You have the ability to inspire and motivate both students and colleagues to develop and reach their goals.

You are calm and stable and have a flexible work style. The work also requires pedagogical insight to meet students in need of special support, an advanced knowledge of handling that promotes students' learning and development.
