Welcome to apply for the position of preschool teacher at Hånger Preschool, which belongs to the Gröndal area. We are now looking for a preschool teacher who wants to help create a safe, exploratory, and inspiring everyday life for our children. In this role, you will be part of an operation that puts children's development, curiosity, and well-being at the center.

Responsibilities

As a preschool teacher, you have overall responsibility for leading and developing the pedagogical activities in the preschool, based on the curriculum. You are responsible for teaching and for creating good conditions for children's learning, development, and well-being through conscious pedagogical choices and a systematic approach.

You are a pedagogical leader who initiates teaching processes, creates structures for learning, and contributes to progression in children's development. The work takes place in close collaboration with the work team, where joint reflection and collegial learning are important parts of the assignment.

The work is characterized by a trusting collaboration with both colleagues and guardians, where dialogue and participation are central.

The role also includes:

• responsibility for teaching and pedagogical activities based on the curriculum
• planning, documenting, following up, and analyzing teaching
• driving and developing systematic quality work
• contributing to collegial learning in the work team
• responsibility for the pedagogical dialogue with guardians

Qualifications

You are clear in your pedagogical leadership and have a solution-oriented and flexible working style. With the ability to adapt when conditions change, you meet everyday life with engagement, creativity, and a positive attitude. You contribute to job satisfaction and create participation and engagement in both the children's group and the work team.

You have a pedagogical approach that combines professional care and teaching in line with the curriculum and the municipality's values, and preferably have experience of meeting children who need extra support.

Furthermore, we see that you have:

• qualification as a preschool teacher with good insight into the preschool's pedagogical mission and curriculum.
• good knowledge of Swedish, in speech and writing.
• good habit of using digital tools

It is meritorious if you have:

• previous work experience within preschool activities

Conditions

The position is filled subject to necessary decisions being made. We place great emphasis on personal suitability.

In Värnamo Municipality, all permanent positions are advertised as full-time. If you instead wish for part-time and the operation can accommodate a lower degree of employment, this is of course an option.
