Sandeplaskolan is a comprehensive school (grades F-9) with approximately 450 students and 60 employees. The school consists of two buildings: the A building houses grades 4–9, and the B building houses grades F-3 as well as the after-school center. We have large and excellent outdoor environments that offer a variety of activities and learning spaces for our students.

Each grade team consolidates into a work group for grades F-3, 4–6, and 7–9. At our school, safety, well-being, and participation are crucial for both students and staff. This means we value good relationships in our interactions, ensuring everyone feels involved in daily work, and that every individual has the opportunity to contribute to the school's development. We cherish good collaboration to create the best conditions for our students and staff.

Our development areas include thinking classrooms, reading comprehension and literacy, motivation-enhancing teaching, and health awareness. We have chosen these areas to increase student learning through curiosity, engagement, and participation in teaching. The student health team works with health awareness to create routines and processes that promote and prevent health issues throughout the school journey.

The organizational structure includes a principal, two deputy principals (grades F-5 and 6–9), and an administrative manager.
