Teacher in Social Studies (SO) for Grades 4–6

About the Position

At Malmö Friskola, we are looking for an engaged and qualified teacher in Social Studies (SO) to teach grades 4–6. As a Social Studies teacher, you are responsible for planning, implementing, and following up on teaching in accordance with the national curriculum. You will work both individually and with colleagues in the teaching team to create a safe, developmental, and stimulating learning environment for our students.

Responsibilities:

• Teach history, geography, religion, and social studies in grades 4–6.
• Plan and evaluate teaching based on students' needs and prerequisites.
• Assess and document students' knowledge development.
• Serve as a mentor for a student group.
• Collaborate with colleagues, student health services, and guardians.

We are looking for someone who:

• Is a certified teacher with qualifications to teach Social Studies in grades 4–6.
• Has strong pedagogical skills and clear classroom leadership.
• Builds good relationships with students, colleagues, and guardians.
• Works in a structured manner and has the ability to adapt teaching.
• Is engaged, creative, and solution-oriented.

Employment Details:
