ÖNUMS FRISKOLA – A small preschool/school with big opportunities, the NATURAL choice.

Our operations include preschool, preschool class, school grades 1–6, and after-school care (fritidshem). At Önums Friskola, we have approximately 150 children, of whom 50 are preschoolers. Our natural environment is stimulating and challenging for both children and educators. We would like you to have a strong interest in nature.

We are now looking for a certified teacher for after-school care (fritidshem) with qualifications in Physical Education and Health.

About the role

The position includes teaching in Physical Education and Health, as well as planning, implementing, and developing the after-school care activities. You will work to create a safe, inclusive, and stimulating environment where students have the opportunity to develop both socially and academically. The role involves close collaboration with teachers, student health services, and guardians, and you are expected to actively contribute to the school's joint development work.

You will work on students' social development and skills. You will foster a trusting, open, and respectful collaboration with students, guardians, and colleagues. You will take into account the students' needs and interests and support them in their development both intellectually and socially.

At Önums Friskola, we want to offer students a meaningful after-school program. We work close to nature, and part of our activities take place outdoors.

Flexibility is a prerequisite as we work in a smaller unit, and the after-school care collaborates with both the school and the preschool.

Conditions

Selection and interviews may take place before the application deadline has passed. The position starts as agreed. A 6-month probationary period applies.
