Perstorp Municipality is located in the heart of northern Scania with good train connections to nearby towns such as Helsingborg and Hässleholm.

Are you a driven and engaged social worker? Perstorp Municipality is investing in Individual and Family Care and is now seeking five social secretaries for various roles within the Social Services Administration.

The authority consists of just over 20 employees and is responsible for the regulatory functions of social services in Perstorp Municipality.

The work is varied, independent, and social, with many partners. Working with the target groups often involves unforeseen events and requires you to be able to pivot and adapt your work to current circumstances. Working with the target groups also requires good communication skills.

We are looking for two social secretaries for Adults, two social secretaries for Children and Family, and one child secretary for Foster Care.

Job Responsibilities: Social Secretary for Adults within Individual and Family Care

The Adult Group works with issues concerning:

• Harmful use and addiction
• Social psychiatry
• Intimate partner violence (IPV).

Your tasks include, among other things, conducting investigations according to the Social Services Act (SoL) and the Law on Mental Health Care (LVM), as well as follow-up of granted interventions. The work also includes planning and participation in meetings, care planning, and follow-ups. You work closely with colleagues within the administration, colleagues in other administrations, families, and external partners to create the best possible conditions for the individual to receive the support they need.

You should contribute to ensuring that the work within the Adult section is conducted in a legally secure and high-quality manner.

Job Responsibilities: Social Secretary for Children and Family within Individual and Family Care

As a social secretary for Children and Family, you work with regulatory functions concerning children, young people, and their families in Perstorp Municipality. Your tasks include, among other things, conducting child investigations according to current legislation, conducting child interviews, making risk/protection assessments, and following up on granted interventions.

In your work, you will collaborate with preschools, schools, healthcare, police, and other internal and external actors. You work closely with colleagues within the administration, colleagues in other administrations, families, and external partners to create the best possible conditions for children, young people, and their families in Perstorp Municipality.

You should contribute to ensuring that the work within Children and Family is conducted in a legally secure and high-quality manner.

Job Responsibilities: Child Secretary for Foster Care within Individual and Family Care

As a Child Secretary, you work with children and young people who are placed in foster homes according to SoL and LVU. Your tasks primarily consist of following up the care of children and young people placed in foster homes according to SoL and LVU. You will conduct child interviews and documentation in our operational systems. The work also includes planning and participation in meetings, care planning, and follow-ups. You will collaborate with foster homes, guardians, schools, healthcare, and other internal and external actors.

You should contribute to ensuring that the work within Foster Care is conducted in a legally secure and high-quality manner.

Qualifications for all positions

• A degree in Social Work (210 higher education credits).
• Category B driver's license.

Merits

• Experience with regulatory functions within social services.
• For the position of social secretary for adults within family and individual care, it is a merit if you have experience working with ASI and Freda.
• Experience with the operational system LifeCare.
