NORDIC LEARNING CENTER

Nordic Learning Center is looking for an engaged teacher of English and social studies for our unit in Täby.

About the role

As a teacher with us, you will teach English and social studies subjects to our adult students. You will work with both classroom students and distance students, which means varied study forms involving teaching, supervision, and grading. The teaching takes place on-site at our unit in Täby.

Working hours

We offer two employment options:

Daytime: Monday–Thursday, 13:00–16:30
Evening: Monday–Friday, 17:00–19:30

We are looking for someone who

Has a teaching license or is qualified to teach English and social studies subjects or Swedish as a Second Language (SVA)
Has experience in adult education
Has experience with both classroom teaching and distance learning
Is confident using digital tools, especially Google Classroom
Is flexible, self-motivated, and responsible
Can work both independently and in a team
Has a good ability to meet and support adult students with different backgrounds and study needs
