Prolympia is Sweden's leading sports school at the primary level. The school is independent and focuses on knowledge, safety, sports, and health – we are now looking for a new colleague to contribute to our operations. The school is centrally located with proximity to sports arenas, Vätterstranden, and the Rosenlund area. Here, 500 students from grades 2-9 attend, and we have approximately 70 employees.

What we are looking for

We are now looking for you who are a qualified teacher for grades 7-9 in Science and Technology (NO) and Technology to strengthen our team at Prolympia Jönköping. Experience in teaching is meritorious, but we are also interested in those who will complete their teacher's degree by summer. In your role as a teacher, you work towards our core values Knowledge, Safety, Sports & Health as well as our concept Good Teaching. You believe that sports and movement promote knowledge acquisition and work with this as a natural part of the school day.

About Prolympia Jönköping

Prolympia Jönköping is located in Rosenlund, just a few minutes' walk from Husqvarna Garden, Vätterstranden, Rosenlundsbadet, Racketcentrum, and the football fields at Rosenlunds IP. Communications are good, and it is easy to get here for both students and adults.

Prolympia Jönköping is an independent school with grades 2-9. The school is divided into two schools, grades 2-6 and 7-9. We have a total of approximately 500 students. In grades 2-6, we have two parallel classes per grade, and in grades 7-9, we have three to four parallel classes per grade. Prolympia is characterized by both students and staff enjoying sports and seeing it as a natural part of the school day. Job Responsibilities

In your role as a teacher, you will teach Science and Technology in grades 7-9, and this will also include mentorship. You will be part of a work team where you have the opportunity to exchange experiences, thoughts, and ideas that can improve your teaching and contribute to school development.

Qualifications

We are looking for you who have clear leadership in the classroom and are a role model in contact with the school's students, colleagues, school management, and guardians. You are a clear leader in the classroom and have the ability to create a classroom characterized by safety, warmth, and good teaching. You plan, conduct, and follow up on your teaching, as well as map students' knowledge levels and document their development. You actively work to stimulate all students to develop their knowledge, and you have the ability to adapt teaching to promote learning and good knowledge results. You build good relationships with students, guardians, and colleagues, and you contribute to a pleasant work environment. You have good IT skills and good communication skills. We place great emphasis on personal suitability and that you share our values and our interest in sports and health.
