Are you ready for the future? So are we – and now we are looking for you!

During 2026, we have a temporary need to expand our staff in the HVB (Home for Care and Residence) care sector, as one member of our staff group will be working on a temporary assignment within the municipality. We are therefore looking for an employee during 2026 who can be part of the exciting work we perform in our HVB care. All new employees receive an introduction and on-the-job guidance from both supervisors and colleagues. 2026 is a year in the spirit of development, and depending on the results of the ongoing development projects, there may be opportunities for continued employment.

We are now looking for more employees who want to join our journey of change. Are you driven, curious, and eager to contribute to meaningful work? Then you might be the one we are looking for!

Your role with us

The task of the treatment assistants is to create conditions for a functioning intervention for all family members and to motivate and contribute to change. The treatment assistant works to ensure the implementation of the assignment is possible and performs all tasks related to the intervention. Treatment work takes place both individually and in teams, and the work is carried out at the residence, in the families' homes, or at other suitable locations.

Treatment and change work should be communicated with the families and documented in the existing system, Journal Digital. In addition, all practical chores found in a residence, such as cleaning, planning, etc., are included. The staff at Bokvillan work together in small teams as well as across team boundaries to create the best possible conditions, and all staff contribute to creating progression in the case.

Bokvillan is staffed around the clock, year-round, and the employment involves shifts during the day, evening, and weekends.

Who are we looking for?

For the current position, a minimum of two years of post-secondary education in a relevant field is required; social worker, social pedagogue, or treatment pedagogue. You must also provide an extract from the criminal record and suspicion register. Working with children and families in treatment work based on attachment and interaction is a requirement. We would also appreciate if you have experience with documentation in Journal Digital.

We are looking for someone who has the ability to work with other people; to listen, show empathy, and respect. You are unpretentious and notice and reward others' contributions. You have the ability to create and maintain good relationships, both internally and externally, and collaborate well with people in different contexts and functions.

You are expected to have good ability to plan and organize your work. You easily set goals, organize resources, follow up, and conclude activities. In the work, it is important that you have the ability to adapt to changed conditions and easily adapt your behavior in relation to other people's needs. You have the ability to perform in a pressured environment and handle difficult situations. The ability to encourage and support change initiatives is important to us. You remain optimistic in the face of challenges and have the ability to accept and learn from criticism. The position requires a valid B-driver's license.

About us

Bokvillan is a home for care and residence for families under municipal management and has close cooperation with social secretaries. Bokvillan works based on Signs of Safety, BBIC (Barns Behov i Centrum / Children's Needs at the Center), attachment theory, and systems theory, which means we work with the entire family and their network to preserve and strengthen protection and resources. Most interventions require collaboration with preschool/school and student health services. Collaboration with other agencies such as Child and Adolescent Psychiatry (BUP), Habilitation (HAB), and Support and Service according to LSS is also important.

All families are placed for various reasons and for a limited period. This means that the family continues to go to school, work, and do other activities as usual. Bokvillan is undergoing a major change in the layout of the premises, and the families will therefore have their own apartments that are connected to common areas for the residence.

Bokvillan has existed since 2009 and is proud of the qualified work we perform for the municipality's citizens. We create opportunities for families to find new family patterns that benefit the family and the children's development. Our starting point is that children should not be in 24-hour care more than necessary and that protective factors should be maintained. We therefore also work with outpatient care and aftercare, something we have further developed during 2025. We are facing a change that requires curiosity, engagement, and new thinking.

To enable this exciting work, there is a clear, established structure and flow for the work. Bokvillan has a well-established structure for flow, planning/matching of cases, documentation, and security. All staff have at least two years of post-secondary education and further training. At Bokvillan, we actively work with feedback and targeted treatment work. There is an present and accessible management and close cooperation within the staff group. Our interventions are permeated by knowledge and evidence, and we systematically evaluate our interventions. We work intensively with methods such as ICDP, The Circle of Security, PYC, and Marte Meo. There is a constant development work to complement evidence-based methods based on the needs of the municipality's residents, which encourages and offers further training.
