We are looking for an engaged and confident teacher for Year 1 at Södra Skolan, starting in the autumn term of 2026. The position is a vacation cover assignment (ferieanställning), and you will become part of our school with approximately 260 students from preschool class to Year 3. We work together to create a safe and learning environment where every student has the opportunity to grow and develop.

The role involves close collaboration with colleagues in the work team as well as cooperation with student health services and guardians.

Responsibilities

As a teacher, you are responsible for planning, implementing, and following up on teaching according to the curriculum. You work in a structured and relational manner, building a safe learning environment where all students are given the opportunity to succeed based on their prerequisites.

Your responsibilities include, among other things:

• Plan, implement, and follow up on teaching.
• Work with clear structure, study quietness, and relationship-building leadership.
• Assess and document students' knowledge development.
• Adapt teaching based on students' different needs.
• Collaborate in work teams and participate in the school's development work.

Qualifications

We are looking for you who are a certified teacher for grades F-3. You have a secure pedagogical foundation and clear leadership. Your lessons are characterized by a clear structure, calmness, and a desire to learn. You are engaged, flexible, and communicative, and you take responsibility for planning, documentation, and follow-up.

It is meritorious if you have experience teaching in Years 1-3, working with extra adaptations and special support, as well as experience with digital learning tools and school platforms.

Great importance is placed on personal suitability.
